The Hamilton Spectator has this story about Mohawk College as a potential site for the Pan Am Games Velodrome. Mohawk and the City of Hamilton have had very preliminary discussions. As with any capital project, the velodrome first and foremost must meet the needs of students. The final decision on the where to locate the velodrome rests with the City of Hamilton in consultation with HostCo, the committee that is overseeing the 2015 Pan Am Games.
