The Hamilton Spectator has this story about the opening of the Bert Hares Boardroom at the McKeil School of Business. The boardroom will serve as a classroom for students from Mohawk's Insurance program. Friends and associates of the late Bert Hares, as well as college supporters, made personal and corporate donations of more than $600,000 to the program. The donations were invested in the new boardroom, renovations to classrooms and open areas and technology upgrades.
