Mountaineer Manny Campbell in the running to play for basketball giant Lebron James at NBA All-Star Weekend next February
Mohawk Mountaineer Manny Campbell is one of 48 amateur basketball players from around the world and one of only two from Canada who are vying for the chance to play for NBA superstars Kobe Bryant or LeBron James in the Sprite Uncontainable Game at the NBA All-Star Weekend in Houston next February.
A basketball player since the age of 9, Manny was one of two Canadian players chosen for their skill during the NBA 3X men’s 18+ 3ON3 championship in Toronto this August. Manny is hoping to play for LeBron James’ Team Sudden in the Sprite Uncontainable Game. The final teams for the Sprite Uncontainable Game will be announced on January 4.

Academic, Administrative and Support Staff: December 21st deadline for your ONE Card!
The deadline to get your ONE Card is Friday, Dec. 21 2012. If you were unable to get your ONE Card in your previously scheduled time, come and get your ONE Card before December 21, 2012! The ONE Card Office will not be able to print Staff ONE Cards in January 2013.
Bring your previous staff ID or government identification to room i130 and the process will take only 5 minutes. The process includes taking a photo for your card and receiving your card on spot.
The outlying campuses Staff and Faculty may choose to go to Fennell or their Student Engagement Offices to have their picture taken and ONE Card printed by Friday, Dec. 21.
Please note that the ONE Card office will be closed from Noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17.
ONE Card Benefits:
It is your identification, it provides security access and with funds loaded on, it may be used to make purchases at any of our food court or campus retail outlets with no processing fees.
Using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard), you may add funds to your ONE Card online at mohawkcollege.ca/onecard or at Automatic Deposit Machines (ADMs) located on all campuses outside the library and the Fennell F Wing across from Tim Hortons. You may do this using cash ($5, $10, $20 bills) or credit card.
